Animals are Like Us.

I have always wanted to live an like animals do. They seem to live so free with no worry about matters in life. They can do whatever and go wherever they want, but recently my thought changes. Animals like us, do have problems in their lives and they are also bound by the law of nature. Their natural instincts tell them to find food and to reproduce, but they have to face the fact that they can lose their lives upon it. Predators, famines, natural disasters, diseases, parasites, competition, and humans are all the factors that can kill an animal. It is true that nature is full of wonder and beautiful, but it is also a harsh and brutal place for some species to survive. I do love nature and I would love to go on adventures, but I'll just keep in my mind that nature is "more than meets the eye."

Animals also have feelings and emotions like us. This issue has been debated by scientists for many years, but for myself, I believe they do. All animals have similar mechanism of pain detection like us, especially the more complex that animal is. As for feelings and emotions, I know animals do have them. From my past experience with my pets, I know they could feel fear, comforted, happy, shy, or ferocious.

First time in the Blogger

Hello wazzup guys! I'm in Jakarta, Indonesia (July 26, 2011) right now. My name is Ivan Nadya Susanto. I am an Indonesian if you want to know, not a Russian. hm..yeah first time making a blog. Feels kinda hard cuz I don't like writing and I hate writing class, but hey! there's first time for everything right? so yeah, I am going to use this blog to tell my story from today and hopefully till the end of my life. I might post a lot things about scenery, animals, and nature, but i will also post about important events-games, sports, church events, people. LOL ok let's begin the story of my life.

Okay...hm...where should we start... ah yes! today was ok, I woke up late in the morning around 10. Then I start my morning routine, do some cardio exercises and weight lifting, but I only had protein milk for breakfast..well i also had one the night before. So i had a bad stomachache this morning....urrgh not good (kids, don't drink too much milk, eat some solid food in between haha). Thankfully, a sister from TJC told me about yoga poses for gas-relief, it's called pama....pava..er..oh ya! pavanamuktasana. yeah whatever...haha so yeah basically it's like crunches but one leg at a time, with proper breathing technique. That pose trully helps me with my stomachache :)

There was also good news about my older brother Yonathan today. He received a letter from my cousin's workplace (in LA) about the job interview. Thank God! I am so proud of him. Well...actually there's a story behind that. You see.. he only has 3 months to find a job, or we will be kicked back to our homeland T.T Yeah I have to go with him, cuz it will make our parents easier to watch us both. Our parents we're planning to transfer us to singapore, china, or australia. They worried about our future career and family. Well I actually don't like all the choices, but yeah we got into some discussions and we went to the counselor for australia universities. The point is I got really worried about my future and don't know what to do. Then one day, on Sabbath, in church we had a sermon about Satisfaction in Life. There I read about Matthew 6:19-34, basically we need to put God first in our life and trust Him. sorry i can't explain well haha. Just read about it when you are worried! XD

Peace and out :)
